What you can get
25–50% of project cost as a state income tax credit • Impoundments of 20+ acre-feet: 50%. Surface water conversion: 25% outside critical groundwater areas, 50% inside, $35,000 lifetime cap. Land leveling: 25%. Annual agricultural credit capped at the lesser of tax due or $18,000, with a 15-year carryforward. A 3% application fee ($100–$1,500) applies.
