What you can get
Field practices up to $1,500/acre (first 4 acres), $1,000/acre (acres 5-8), $750/acre beyond; forest farming up to $1,000 for 1/4 acre plus up to $500/acre site prep • Reimbursement of documented project expenses after project completion, capped per acre by practice • Projects must be completed within 18 months of award. Allowed expenses: site preparation, planting stock, equipment rentals, tree protection, contractor labor; excludes livestock purchases, personal producer time, woodland thinning, and major machinery such as tractors.
