What you can get
Emergency relief grants, capped by an annual per-farm relief cap • Two active tracks: natural disaster aid (any weather-related event including hurricanes, tornados, storms, flooding, wind damage, or freezes causing significant damage to crops, livestock, equipment, or infrastructure - does NOT cover losses from pests, predators, drought, or lack of infrastructure) and medical crisis aid (physical injury, physical or mental illness, or death in the family causing a sudden and unexpected loss of work or income - does NOT cover chronic injuries/illness or medical bills). Farm owners must have been in business, and farm employees employed, 6 months before the event, and must apply within 60 days of it.

- Rolling and active as of August 2026 for both natural disaster and medical crisis aid. Event-triggered deadline: farmers must apply within 60 days of the qualifying weather event or medical crisis. The Hurricane Helene track and the Nov. 2025 SNAP/EBT loss track are both closed (SNAP/EBT closed Jan 12, 2026).
