- Due November 17, 2026. FY2027 round announced September 24, 2026. Applications are due by 4 p.m. Central Time on Tuesday, November 17, 2026. Up to $500,000 available. New for FY2027: specialty crop projects only (livestock projects go to the AGRI Livestock Investment Grant).
- Eligibility
- Minnesota specialty crop producers. Supplies or equipment that make operations more resilient to drought, flooding, hail, severe storms and other extreme weather; eligible expenses include water tanks, wells, pipelines, irrigation equipment, rain barrels, hail netting and frost protection. Projects costing $1,000 to $20,000. Purchases must be made after the grant contract is fully signed. Priority for applicants who have farmed 10 years or less. Match requirement: 50% cash match (dollar-for-dollar).
