- Announced September 29, 2026: USDA increased RPP financial assistance from $700 million to $1 billion for fiscal year 2027 ($650 million through EQIP, $350 million through CSP). 'Producers can now apply for assistance.' Apply through the local NRCS Service Center by your state's ranking dates for FY2027 funding consideration; ranking dates vary by state (see NRCS ranking dates). FY2027 changes: CSP resource concern threshold lowered from 100% to 75%; State Technical Advisory Committees may add conservation practices reflecting local resource concerns.
