- Eligibility
- In-kind award of free native foundation seed, not cash. Applicants must be Nevada residents with the majority of growing area in Nevada; appropriate water rights (water rights permit required for commercial production); Nevada business license; noxious weed control per NRS 555; certify the seed lot. A portion of the yield (not to exceed twice the pounds awarded) is returned to the program; the rest may be used or sold for restoration. Producers who haven't previously produced native seed get five bonus scoring points. Competitive scoring.
