$10,000–$50,000 • Reimbursement after successful project completion and approval of required documentation; applicants must self-finance or obtain financing upfront. Eligible R&D services only. One application at a time; up to $50,000 per project and $100,000 per business per round for sequential completed projects.

- Due October 25, 2027. Noncompetitive rolling applications June 26, 2026–October 25, 2027, or until funds are exhausted. Projects run 18 months from contract execution.
- Eligibility
- Projects must support NYS Grown & Certified food or beverage products; applicants and their businesses cannot have outstanding local, state or federal tax liens. Dairy farms may qualify through a certified processor/cooperative with the required AEM, FARM or CAFO participation. First-time processed-food creators need a feasibility consultation before approval. Grantees must finance project costs upfront. Match requirement: Cash/non-NYS financing match equal to 10% of the grant award; in-kind match not allowed. A $50,000 grant requires $5,000 match..
