What you can get
Per-tonne carbon payments; the 2024 program offered up to $30/metric ton of carbon stored with a $2/acre minimum. Truterra pays in two stages — an advance after credit issuance, the balance after the credit sale, with program payment anticipated in 2027-2028 for the 2025 cohort. • Enrollment runs through participating Truterra network ag retailers, not directly online.

- The 2025 Truterra Registered Carbon Program with Indigo enrolled Aug 18 – Sept 2, 2025, or until the program cap was reached. No 2026 window has been announced. Eligible crops: barley, canola, corn, cotton, dry beans, flax, hemp, millet, oats, peanuts, rye, grain sorghum, soybeans, sugar beets, sunflowers, triticale and wheat across 30+ states. Core qualifying practice changes are cover crops, strip/no-till, and adding legumes to cover crop mixes. Contact a Truterra network ag retailer or truterraag.com/enroll.
