Replaces and substantially scales up the former Young Farmer Grant Program, whose $5,000 microgrants NYFC concluded were 'not enough to fund the practices or to invest in the infrastructure farmers really need.' Eligible practices include carbon sequestration and soil health, water quality improvement, biodiversity, and supply chain resilience. Backed by a $500K dollar-for-dollar match from Whole Foods Market available until Nov 30, 2026.
