The practitioner behind the work

Robert M Burger

Sr. Scientist/Founder of IngenuityWorx

Robert “Bob” Burger contributes to Soil Health Exchange on nanobubble irrigation, root-zone oxygen, and evaluating farm water technologies. His two-part series explains how nanobubbles work, how to plan an installation, and how to compare operating costs and potential farm payback. Based in Scarborough, Maine, Bob is the founder and senior scientist at IngenuityWorx. He brings more than 50 years of technical experience across several industries, including work with environmental soil and water investigation, chemical analysis, and bench-scale testing. His focus at SHE is helping growers work through the questions that come before a trial or purchase: define the problem, choose useful measurements, understand equipment requirements, and weigh costs against potential benefits.
